BLACK SUN ROSE

Pleased to announce that we have uploaded elements of the Black Sun Rose project here.

Black Sun Rose is a project illustrating how APHP design protocols can be used to mark and communicate sites of nuclear waste storage across geologic scales of time for future humans. The Waste Isolation Pilot Program (WIPP) site located in the USA was used as the test model for these protocols.

An abridged overview of this project is available in the PROJECTS section of the site. For more detailed information, please contact us at designentropy@gmail.com.

The Atomic Priesthood Project: Symbiotic Spheres at The Museum of American Glass

We are pleased to have the 6th installation of the Atomic Priesthood Project included within The Museum of American Glass’ exhibition Symbiotic Spheres from April 3rd, 02018 to December 30th, 02018.

Curated by Benjamin Wright, this latest installation of the Atomic Priesthood Project expands the archive in new and unexpected ways.

The installation is housed within the campus of the oldest operational glassmaking facilities in the United States and draws explicit connections between glass as a powerful means of deep-time communication, the powerful combination of Art and Science in union, and the importance of mystery at the heart of the Atomic Priesthood Project.

We are happy to announce the construction of an ash wood sarcophagus to house the projected remains of Time Arrow (brother bmw01984) and the revelation of mycology as an essential branch of knowledge for all adepts within the APHP.
